I am only guessing that using a single word synonym for inflicting pain was liked and the adjective ‘Cruelty’ was picked and agreed upon. I could just fucking be talking bullshit? Fuck knows, But I like the word CRUELTY and I like this band more. Perfectly executed design all around. Compelling metallic hardcore with an unusual, but welcomed take on vocals. Matching more of a sound akin to Type O Negative meets Integrity, it shreds through wonderfully varied powerful songs. Roaring in scope, there are many moments of more traditional furiousity, but most of the album maintains an air of spectacle due to the vocals. Not theatric, but they add a presence to the album. The guitars are properly riff filled, and the drums carry everything along with battering precision.
